Kidsafe UK

We are delighted to be a Kidsafe registered school. Both Mrs Clarke and Miss Innes are our qualified Kidsafe Tutors and deliver the full programme to all our children throughout each academic year. If you like to find out more about Kidsafe UK, please click on the link below:


Week 1 
  • Getting to know KS through games 
  • Keeping ourselves safe
  • Meaning of trust 
  • Discuss feelings
    Identify feelings that make the children feel sad, scared of worried
    Yukky feelings
Week 2 
  • Discussion on bullying
  • Meaning of bullying – S.T.O.P
    (Several times on purpose)
  • Helping KS and his yukky feelings
  • Use their voices to say ‘No’ if they are in a situation where they get yukky feelings
    Think about trusted grownups that they can talk to when they have yukky feelings
Week 3 
  • Use of the internet and how to keep safe when using it
  • Age ratings for games and films – link below for further information
  • Computer games classification – link below
Week 4 
  • Importance of private places we have on our bodies 
  • Being the boss of your own body and private places 
  • Rules to keep our private places safe 
  • Good/bad secrets and helping KS to understand what the difference is
Week 5 
  • Talking to a trusted grownup if they hear arguing and it gives them those yukky feelings 
Week 6 
  •  Re-cap previous sessions 
  • Evaluate what they have learnt from the Kidsafe Programme 
  • Emphasise say ‘No’, walk away and tell a trusted adult if they ever get a yukky feeling 
  • Children receive a certificate of participation
