Welcome to FS1 Nursery

Welcome to Nursery

Nursery is a a play based setting where children are encouraged to play and explore. We encourage independence and we instill a "have a go" attitude.

Autumn Term

During the Autumn Term the children learnt about traditional tales. The children recalled information from the different stories and re-enacted the various parts. We made some fantastic houses made from straw, sticks and bricks!

Spring Term

The children learnt  about mini-beasts and  dinosaurs throughout this term.  Nursery learnt about what mini-beasts are and how we look after them. We made a bug hotel and created lots of art work to further develop our understanding. The children found a mysteries egg and had to investigate what could have been inside. The group used the computer and books in our library to help with their research.

Summer Term

During the Summer Term the children are enjoying learning about space and Under the sea.
