We believe that how children are dressed during their time in school makes an important contribution to its overall ethos.
It promotes a sense of unity in the school and encourages children to feel part of the group. Our uniform is:
Black/charcoal trousers or skirt or pinafore dress.
White shirt or blouse, or yellow polo shirt.
Red sweatshirt, cardigan or fleece.
Red gingham summer dresses.
Sensible school shoes without heels.
Jackets, fleeces, sweatshirts and polo shirts with the school logo can be ordered from the school secretary or the main office. You can also order good quality book bags with the school logo on.
During PE and sport lessons all children should have an appropriate PE kit in school.
Their PE kit should consist of:
a pair of black shorts
a white t-shirt (no vest tops)
These can be summer clothes or can be bought from a local supermarket at a reasonable price.
Children should also bring trainers and a long sleeve top and tracksuit bottoms for outdoor sessions.
During PE lessons all jewellery must be removed. If earrings are unable to be removed then they will need to be taped over.
Long hair should also be tied back.
During swimming sessions all hair must be tied back and all jewellery removed.
Appropriate swim wear must be worn:
Boys: – swimming trunks or swimming shorts. (shorts should not cover the knee)
Girls: – a one piece swimming costume.
