School Results

We are extremely proud of the achievements all our children make every year.
They have worked very hard to achieve the best they can, to ensure they are well prepared for the next stage of their education. This year, the children in Years 2 and 6 faced SATs examinations, which measured their achievements of the new curriculum established in 2014. Yet again our children leave South Bank Primary School having made exceptional progress. A synopsis of our 2018 results in below:

Results Headlines 2018

Average progress pupils made Average Scaled score % of children achieved the Expected standard or above % of children who achieved the Greater Depth standard
Reading 3.73 101 68 15
Writing 7.31 75 10
Maths 5.88 103 75 21

It is sometimes difficult to compare our results to those of other schools, due to the complex context of our school, and the inclusion of the children in our SEN bases. Please take some time to examine the documents below, which give a detailed analysis and commentary on performance across the school, including all Key Stages, the Support Base units and pupils receiving the Pupil Premium Grant.
