Educational Visits
Educational Visits.
At South Bank Primary we believe that Educational visits form a valuable part of the school curriculum.
All children should experience the world beyond the classroom as an essential part of learning and personal development, whatever their age, ability or circumstances.
Educational visits are carefully planned and are appropriate to the children’s ages. Visits offer hands-on learning opportunities, built around clear learning objectives.
All visits follow rigorous safety guidelines.
If you have any queries about a visit please see the class teacher or school.

KS1 Trip to the Golden Star Chinese Restaurant, Linthorpe Road
As part of our topic on China we visited a local Chinese restaurant. We enjoyed exploring different tastes and using chopsticks. We discussed our likes and dislikes and compared it to the food we eat at home and school.
KS1 Trip to Raby Castle
We have been learning about Knights and Castles this year and visited a real life castle. We saw what life was like in the Medieval Times for different people and could name the different features of a castle.
